Survivorship Bias

Survivorship Bias — Drawing conclusions only from the cases that made it through a selection process while ignoring those that didn't, which skews the result. Classic example: Abraham Wald armouring the parts of returning WWII bombers that had no bullet holes — the planes hit elsewhere never came back.
