Accounts Receivable

An unconditional right to consideration — an amount billed and owed by the customer, where only the passage of time is required before payment. Distinct from a contract asset (Income Receivable), which is a conditional right (still dependent on something other than time), and from Deferred Revenue, a liability for cash received before delivery.
